Co-Founder of Exim Dance Company, I lead the company for 5 years alongside my work in the community and as Senior Project Coordinator for Plymouth Dance.

A diverse practitioner I am dedicated to inclusive practice and passionate about breaking down the ideological barriers that surround dance. In 2011 I received an award from Plymouth University for my work in the community.

At the University of Washington at their inclusive dance symposium where I was a guest speaker.

Having originally trained at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre in 1998 I was forced to leave following an injury. Following a five-year stretch in the Royal Navy and some un-fulfilling forays in administration and management, I returned to complete my dance training at Plymouth University.

Leading a workshop for Strictly Collaborative Theatre Company

As a performer, I have worked with Adam Benjamin, Ruth Way, Jacky Lansley, Sally Robbins, Symbiotic Theatre, Jules Laville and Spindrift Dance Company.

As a choreographer, I have extensive experience in working with youth and community groups and currently have a professional piece touring the UK. For more information on it please take a look at Exim’s website.
